Registration Info

MIKIW 2021 will be held virtually April 23rd – 25th. Registration deadline extended to March 8th at 5 PM!

Thank you for registering for the MIKIW 2021 conference. Before beginning the registration process, please note:

The cost of attendance for this conference is expected to be minimal and will be finalized once the final number of attendees is known. By registering now, you are agreeing to attend the virtual conference.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS: Poster presentations from all disciplines of medicinal chemistry are welcome. When registering, you will be prompted and required to provide a title and abstract. Please fill out the Poster Presentation Abstract Template, save a copy before registering, and upload this file when prompted to do so.  Given that this is a virtual conference, posters will not need to be physically printed out, but rather you will supply it as both a PowerPoint and PDF file at a later date (not needed during the registration process). One of these files will be uploaded to the virtual conference hall in which it will be presented and viewed by others in the virtual conference.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS: The agenda for the conference will include 15 total oral presentations from graduate students, with three graduate speakers contributed from each participating MIKIW institution. Student speakers for oral presentations will be selected and notified by their respective department faculty prior to the end of the registration deadline. Please do not register for an oral presentation unless you are informed to do so by your department. Student speakers should fill out the Oral Presentation Abstract Template, save a copy, and register using the same link as poster presenters and faculty. Oral presenters will also be asked to provide a graphical abstract, which is to be saved as a .PNG or .TIFF file and should be uploaded with the other registration materials.

This conference will be making use of a virtual conference hosting software called gather.town. Gather.town will provide a virtual world in which conference-goers can interact with each other in a way that closely mimics an in-person conference. All of the conference will be accessible through gather.town, though use of gather.town will only be required for the poster session and the sponsor booths. All other aspects of the conference will also be accessible via Zoom meeting links provided on the Program Agenda page.

Please visit the Meeting Registration page to proceed with registration.
